This week we're launching a new collection of furniture at Maison & Objet in Paris. A special furniture piece that we’re highlighting this week is the Base. The Base dining table is a simple design made with craftsmanship. The table is made up of various wood joints, giving the table a unique character. 

When you take a closer look at the table, the wood joints become visible. This visibility is characteristic of Studio HENK’s designs. Designer Xander Albers: “There’s beauty in how a piece of furniture is made. Rather than hiding the process, we highlight it.” (You can read the full interview with Xander Albers here). The Base is made of high quality materials to ensure its durability. The Base is also available as a dining bench.
